OUR STORY
25 Years of Building for People, Not for Shareholders
The Foundation
With a partnership spanning over 25 years, Franco and Ann Marie began their journey in 1997, designing and building custom cabinetry for luxury homes in Montana and Colorado. What started in a small workshop grew into Renaissance West — a studio known for meticulous craftsmanship and designs that were built to last.
The Evolution
In 2020, when the world shut down, CIAO Kitchen & Bath was born from a desire to simplify the remodeling process — combining high-end design with a lean, low-overhead model that puts the client first. No showroom to maintain. No sales floor. Just two experienced designers focused entirely on your project.
The Present
Today, we operate as a dedicated concierge team, personally overseeing every project from the first sketch to the final installation. Our clients don’t talk to account managers — they talk to us. That’s the whole point of CIAO: the experts are the ones doing the work.

Franco Guerri
Senior Designer, Managing Partner
Franco’s vision for CIAO is simple: deliver an elite design experience through a lean, smart business model. By cutting out the overhead that inflates prices across this industry, he offers luxury quality and concierge-level service at a much more attractive price point.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Franco holds a Design degree from UC Berkeley and pursued graduate studies in Manufacturing Engineering at UCLA. He often says he’s “never quite sure if he’s an artist or an engineer” — and for his clients, that’s a perfect combination. He has the aesthetic eye to design a stunning space and the technical precision to ensure every cabinet fits to the millimeter.
Whether the style is Euro-contemporary, Mid-Century, or Traditional, Franco’s diverse background — from high-tech manufacturing to founding his own custom cabinet shop — ensures your project is both functionally and aesthetically remarkable.
Ann Marie Guerri
Interior Designer, Partner
Ann Marie is a designer and fine artist with a background in Interior Design from Cal State Sacramento. She has led projects across commercial interiors and custom homes, and co-founded Renaissance West alongside Franco, serving luxury clients throughout Montana and Colorado.
At CIAO, Ann Marie brings a creative, client-focused approach to every space. She’s the one who ensures your kitchen isn’t just beautiful in a rendering but actually works for the way you cook, entertain, and live. From finish selections to color palettes to the small details that make a room feel like yours, her eye is what turns a renovation into a home.
Together with Franco, she completes a rare combination: engineering precision paired with an artist’s intuition. Clients often say the best part of working with CIAO is having both perspectives in the same room.
